Free Fire Max is an advanced version of the most-downloaded mobile game of 2019, Garena Free Fire. It delivers higher-quality visuals across the board, though with higher fidelity comes greater demands on your device.

It's an interesting, though not unprecedented, move. The closest comparison I can think of is PUBG Mobile's 'Lite' version, which reduced map sizes and player counts to work with lower-spec devices. Max is obviously pushing things in the opposite direction, though.

Free Fire Club notes that smaller effects triggered by special skills have also received a noticeable upgrade, suggesting that the enhancements extend beyond, for example, a bump in resolution or stability.

Your current Garena Free Fire account – including your skins and rank – will, according to Free Fire Club, carry over to Free Fire Max. The recent trial version came in at just under 1 GB, but it's unclear as to whether that is indicative of the full version's size.

Sportskeeda claims that Max also benefits from improved draw distances and an updated user interface.

There's currently no set launch date, though it reportedly appeared on the Latam sever not long back to allow for a small beta test. While the initial test arrived for Android only, Free Fire Max is also said to be heading to iOS.
Spider Superhero Car Stunts: Car Driving Simulator Mod Spider Superhero Car Stunts: Car Driving Simulator v1.53 mod Features:Advertising gain rewardSpider Superhero Car Games: Car Driving Simulator is here with three amazing racing modes with sports, racing, classic, and speed cars for the master hero driver of mega ramp extreme stunts.️ So, enjoy the thrilling crazy driving in this stunt car game.
Last week we talked about the upcoming release date of the Flashback remaster courtesy of original game designer Paul Cuisset. Well, as it turns out, that day is now upon us.

Flashback, for the unaware, was an award-winning cinematic platformer from the Amiga days. It initially released for that platform in 1992, however found greater fame during it's wider release the following year when it released for home consoles as well as MS-DOS and Archemedes.
Looking for another great platformer for your iPhone or iPad, look no further than our list of the best.
Cinematic Platformer isn't a term that's flung around very often, but it commonly refers to slower-paced platformers which feature puzzling elements and realistic movement. If you think of Heart of Darkness, Abe's Oddessey, or Prince of Persia (1989, not the reboot) then you're thinking of games from that subgenre. There's not many nowadays, as they naturally evolved into 3D 'adventure' platformers like Tomb Raider, which is why it's such a big deal that Cuisset, alongside publishers, SFL Interactive, have brought Flashback into the modern age.

To compensate for the 27 years of advancements we've seen in games there is a new mode added into the remake. From the main menu you can select either '1993 Classic' mode, or 'Modern' mode. There are four major changes between the two modes, with the Modern mode featuring tutorials, a rewind feature, and some audio & visual upgrades.

I've been playing through Flashback, which we are quaintly refering to as Flashback (2019) on the site to differenciate it from a port which incidented its way onto the App Store many years back, and am really enjoying how tactile it feels on touch screen. I've had some issues with jumping and pacing with ported platformers previously, but this rebuild of Flashback manages to succinctly evade that thanks to the efforts of the developers. We'll have our full review out later on today.

Flashback is available now on the App Store and Google Play

Check out our news section to discover the latest, and greatest, games.

Assassin's Creed Identity finally got aconfirmed release date this week after a lengthy soft launch period.

Well it looks like Ubisoft had more to share this week as two Q&A video just popped up, confirming new details on the game and showcasing its gameplay.

Assassin's Creed Identity wants to be a fully fledged Assassin's Creed title. In it, you'll parkour your way through ten huge cities, here all located in Italy, in search of targets that you need to kill. Its story is obviously filled with mysteries, conspirations and Templars as you'd expect from an Assassin's Creed title.

It differs in its gameplay though. It's an action RPG, which means that you'll level up skills and choose from four different classes that you can then customize to your liking.

You can choose to be a sneaky thief or a brutal berserker. You'll also collect loot and equip different items.

You'll have multiple ways of controlling the action. You can play the entire game with a single tap system or via the traditional virtual stick and buttons. If you happen to have a MFi controller lying around, you'll also be able to use that.

Ubisoft explains that the shift in business model, from free to play to premium, occurred during the soft launch period because of players' feedback.

The game will launch February 25th on iOS. You can check both videos below.

Developer Laser Dog's library is one of minimalist games, both in aesthetic and design. However, it was their first game Puk that probably best encapsulates that style, and it's currently for the low price of 0.99p / 0.99c on iOS.

Your goal in Puk is simple: blast balls at bumpers of varying size, their size affecting how many hits it takes from them to disappear completely. The controls are only flicking on balls to send them ricocheting across a level, a mechanics that extends across 1,000 stages.

A tight timer, limited balls, gates, and walls that can make a simple level a tricky challenge add surprising variety to Puk, an element that earned the game a Silver Award. Multiple difficulties offer new tests of your skills if you're finding the game too easy or hard; Shadow throws the hardest levels at you earlier, while Light eases you in with more basic levels.

Puk can be purchased on the App Store.
