A PRINCE had some Monkeys trained to dance. Being naturally great mimics of men's actions, they showed themselves most apt pupils, and when arrayed in their rich clothes and masks, they danced as well as any of the courtiers. The spectacle was often repeated with great applause, till on one occasion a courtier, bent on mischief, took from his pocket a handful of nuts and threw them upon the stage. The Monkeys at the sight of the nuts forgot their dancing and became (as indeed they were) Monkeys instead of actors. Pulling off their masks and tearing their robes, they fought with one another for the nuts. The dancing spectacle thus came to an end amidst the laughter and ridicule of the audience....
<p>Shovel Knight has dug his way into the PS Vita at long last. And Kratos from God of War has hopped along for the ride.</p><p>The Gold Award-winning retro-style action platformer is available in the US from today on Vita while European Vita owners get it tomorrow (April 22nd).</p><p>And yes, before you ask, it's cross-buy and cross-save across PS4, PS3, and PS Vita.</p><p>On Vita, Shovel Knight makes use of the rear touchpad to have you poke some of the game's scenes to find hidden easter eggs.</p><p>Then there's also the PlayStation-exclusive boss battle with Kratos to find, as we covered previously.</p><p>But that's not all as creator Yacht Club Games has outlined a lot more content coming to Shovel Knight later this year, all of it free.</p><p>It includes three new campaigns starring Plague Knight, King Knight, and Specter Knight. There will also be a Challenge Mode, a Body Swap Mode, and a 4-Player Battle Mode (probably not on Vita, though).</p><p>So, for that one price, you're getting a lot of dirt-shovelling goodies. Probably worth picking Shovel Knight up, then.</p>...
<p>Qubic Games has told us that Bronze Award-winning 3DS time-trial racer AiRace Speed is coming to iOS very soon, under the new name Air Race Speed.</p><p>The iOS version will contain all of the levels in the 3DS version as well as extra levels from AiRace Xeno.</p><p>We were able to go hands-on with Speed on iOS and can confirm that, as Qubic says, it runs very smoothly.</p><p>AiRace Speed may look like WipEout and F-Zero but it plays more like, say, Boson X.</p><p>There are no other racers and you don't race around circuits, you see. Instead, you attempt to get from A to B, swooping and dodging in order to get the quickest time you can.</p><p>Game Center leaderboards will mean you'll be able to challenge friends to beat your best times, and vice versa.</p><p>Qubic Games was not able to confirm a release date for Air Race Speed but it should in the next month or so. An Android version will arrive eventually.</p><p>It will be sold as a premium title.</p>...
